ShepMarine Pte Ltd is led by Charles Shepherd, a marine surveyor, auditor and technical consultant with over 25 years international experience in marine assurance, classification, compliance and ship management. Charles has worked across a wide range of vessel types, including container ships, gas carriers, bulk carriers, crude and product tankers, naval vessels, offshore support vessels, tugs, barges and specialised ships, combining practical operational responsibility with independent survey and audit experience. He provides clear and practical support in technical compliance, ship condition assessment, management system audits, defect and incident review, drydock support, newbuilding inspection and technical due diligence.

Credentials

Member of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects.
MEng Ship Science with European Studies.
Diploma in Small Craft Surveying.
Experience in class, statutory, ISM and ISPS survey and audit work.
Practical ship management experience including maintenance, procurement, drydocking, regulatory compliance and vessel performance reporting.
Lived and worked in the following countries: UK, France, Germany, Italy, Bahrain, Thailand, Singapore, China, Papua New Guinea.
