01 / Compliance
Independent audits and surveys to verify a ship’s, fleet’s or shipyard’s compliance status against client technical or quality requirements, specifications, terms, or specified regulations.
02 / Ship condition
Providing an independent report of the condition of a ship’s structure, machinery, equipment and accommodation for purposes such as sale and purchase assessments, fleet benchmarking, vessel amelioration programmes.
03 / Management systems
Independent audits against the company’s ship management system and industry best practice, both onboard the vessel and in the ship management office. The audits may cover the entire quality and safety management systems or focus on specific areas, such as maintenance or procurement systems. These are typically requested where management are looking for a fresh perspective to continuously improve their systems or to identify and resolve potential issues prior to the formal external certification audit.
04 / Reliability
Independent review of a fleet’s technical defects, machinery failures and operational incidents to help identify likely causes, assess common contributing factors and support practical preventive actions. This work may include document review, vessel attendance, interviews, evidence assessment and recommendations for improved reliability, safety and operational control.
05 / Technical management
Support to Technical Managers, either in the office or on board, to oversee maintenance and repairs, conduct Vessel Manager ship inspections, attend at external surveys or audits, or temporary cover for periods when experienced operational oversight is needed.
06 / Drydock support
Support to Technical Managers, either in the office or on board, to assist in drydock specification preparation, evaluation of shipyard quotes, attendance and reporting of shipyard works.
07 / Newbuilding oversight
Inspection and survey services of ships under construction against specified standards or Owner’s requirements as per the Building contract. Subject to availability, we can also provide inspection services as a contracted member of the Owner’s or Manager’s site team.
08 / Asset review
Independent technical due diligence reviews for vessels, projects, and maritime assets to support informed investment and transaction decisions.
